• She was born in Ankara in 1956.
• After she had completed her primary
school, middle school and high school education at T.E.D. Ankara College, she
entered Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1974 and graduated in 1980.
• She studied her specialization
Pediatrics at Dr. Sami Ulus Children’s Hospital between 1981-1985.
• In 1987 she started subspecialty
Child Neurology at the same hospital.
• In 1989 she took her subspecialty
and started to work as Chief Asistant.
• In 1987-1988 and 1988-1989 she
studied EEG, ENMG, evoked potentials and
long-term EEG monitorization at Karolinska Hospital Neurophysiology
Clinic Department in Sweden for total 8,5 months and also she has done herself.
• In 1992 she came to Ankara
University Faculty of Medicine as an Academician.
• In 1993 she became an Associate
Professor. In 2000 she became Professor.In 1999 she became the head of the
Department of Child Neurology and she still continues her task.
• She is the member of National
Association of Child Neurology, European
Association of Child Neurology,
Asia-Oceania Child Neurology Association and the International Child
Neurology Association..
